Join us in creating a brighter future for the people we support Hours of employment are 35 hours per week, working on a rota basis 5 out of 7 days. Shifts will include morning, evening and weekend cover. Please note for this role, and for genuine occupational requirement reasons, we are looking to appoint a Female Support Worker (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9). The Role In your role as Support Worker, you will provide care and support to individuals in their own homes including: Assisting with household tasks Assisting and supporting with personal care, including intimate personal care Medication prompting/ administering You Will: Have good communication skills, both verbal and written Have the ability and initiative to work on a lone working basis Have good time keeping, time management and organisational skills Hold an SVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or have the ability and willingness to undertake this qualification Be required to obtain registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of taking up the post Please see the attachment for the full Role Profile and Person Specification.
