Job Title: Speech & Language Therapist (ADOS-2 / ADI-R) - HuddersfieldLocation: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire (Hybrid 1-2 days minimum)Role: PermanentSalary: £35,000 - £85,000 per annum (depending on experience)Hours: Full Time (Part Time available)Our client is an award-winning, NHS and HSE approved practice dedicated to providing high-quality psychological care across the UK and Ireland. They offer neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children, as well as expert witness assessments for courts and parole boards, including criminal, family, immigration law, and medico-legal cases. They have a proven track record of delivering high-quality assessments and NHS contracts.The Role:This is an exciting and valuable position within a busy service, providing assessments to families and adults. The role is hybrid, involving working within the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team for children referred for autism and/or ADHD assessments via NHS Patient choice and GP referral. Some tasks may be performed remotely, but attendance at the office will be required.The clinician will conduct comprehensive specialist assessments, including diagnostic evaluations for individuals with suspected autism and/or ADHD using established diagnostic tools. Assessments of mental health conditions may also be part of the role. All assessments are conducted on behalf of the NHS via GP referral.The clinician is responsible for writing assessment reports promptly and professionally, providing recommendations and interventions. Depending on experience, the clinician may also supervise and support junior staff members.Qualifications:HCPC registered Speech and Language TherapistMust be eligible to work in the UKExperience in conducting diagnostic neurodevelopmental and developmental assessments with children and young peopleExperience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health issues in a clinical settingKnowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and assessment tools for autism and ADHDKnowledge of differential diagnosisIdeally trained in ADOS-2 and ADI-RExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work as part of a multidisciplinary teamExperience in report writing and record keepingAdditional qualifications in autism and/or ADHD are desirableClinical supervision experience is beneficial #J-18808-Ljbffr
