Veterinary Receptionist

Veterinary Receptionist We’re currently hiring at IVC Evidensia’s Kingston Veterinary Group in Sherborne. This role is the friendly first point of contact for our clients, handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, managing emails, processing payments, promoting our services, and ensuring the reception area remains welcoming and spotless. Responsibilities Act as the initial point of contact for clients by answering telephone calls and emails. Schedule veterinary appointments for small animals, farm livestock, and equines. Process payments and update client records accurately. Promote our health‑care services to clients. Maintain a clean, welcoming front‑desk area. Collaborate closely with the veterinary team and administrative staff. Qualifications Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to remain composed in high‑pressure situations. Commitment to outstanding customer service. Ability to work effectively within a team. Prior experience in a veterinary setting is an advantage; comprehensive training will be provided. Working Pattern Part‑time position covering 23 hours per week. Shifts run between 08:30 am and 06:30 pm, with Saturdays on a rota basis.
