As a Dads Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children.Your roleYour role would include helping to improve the mental/physical health of fathers, by providing practical support in a variety of settings, including the home; and to improve the social/emotional development of the child by promoting positive parenting skills and healthy coupling relationships. This includes working in partnership with fathers and male family members to offer support, advice and guidance focused on parenting and adult-to-child interactions but also on a range of issues such as behaviour management, financial resilience and collaborating with individuals to raise aspirations and develop confidence and self-esteem.Disability ConfidentA Disability Confident employer will generally offer an interview to any applicant that declares they have a disability and meets the minimum criteria for the job as defined by the employer.
