Business Development Manager – Logistics Hargreaves Logistics, part of Hargreaves Services plc, is one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist logistics and material handling solutions. With one of the largest bulk logistics operations in the country, we deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable transport for raw materials and heavy loads, supporting key sectors such as construction, energy, and infrastructure. What you’ll be doing Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor. Support the development and execution of strategic plans to expand our footprint across core sectors. Work closely with fleet and depot teams to ensure service excellence and responsiveness. Collaborate with estimating and finance teams to shape proposals, pricing models, and contract terms. Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform business decisions. Represent Hargreaves Logistics at industry events, client meetings, and leadership forums. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in strategic account management, business development, or client partnership roles within logistics, infrastructure, or industrial services. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence at senior levels. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a track record of delivering results. Willingness to travel regularly across the UK.
