Finance Manager

POSITION SUMMARY We are looking for an ambitious Finance Manager to join our rapidly growing luxury aesthetics business based in Andover, Hampshire, reporting to the Head Of Finance. This is a permanent position working 5 days per week. 3 days working from home / 2 days working in the Head Office. Your commuting distance from home to the Head Office should be no more than 45 minutes. Primary function is to supervise the monthly close and assist in the preparation of management accounts ensuring full balance sheet control and reconciliation. This is a high volume busy role which calls for a resilient individual who can hit the ground running, work at pace and accurately. This role is an immediate start and will require someone with experience in a similar role. A Professional accounting qualification e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA would be preferred. MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the closing of month end on a tight deadline – 5 working days. Supervision of a small finance team during the close. Ensure all month end activities are carried out and monthly balance sheet reconciliations completed. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts with variance commentary. Preparation of VAT. Weekly cash forecast planning. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. Good all round stock and inventory management experience. Manage daily financial transactions into Xero working with finance team. Experienced in finance systems and apps such as Xero, NETSuite, ERP and various merchant providers’ platform. Overseeing the Trade Finance and Invoice Finance functions. Provide support to Head Of Finance on various ad hoc tasks, demonstrating flexibility and proactive approach. Assist with the external audit. Assist with the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. WHAT WILL MAKE YOU RIGHT FOR THIS ROLE? EXPERIENCE & KEY SUCCESS CRITERIA Strong month end close experience and preparing monthly management accounts. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Process understanding – ability to document processes. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
