The Role We’re seeking a skilled Dog Stylist / Groomer to lead grooming appointments, ensuring high‑quality grooms with care, precision, and a personal touch. You will interact with pet owners daily; strong communication and customer service skills are essential. We support your development with comprehensive training, Earn as You Learn programmes, and skill‑based pay enhancements. Responsibilities Lead grooming appointments, providing high‑quality dog grooming services. Maintain cleanliness and safety of grooming areas. Communicate effectively with pet owners and provide excellent customer service. Assist in inventory management and product recommendations. Adhere to company grooming standards, health, and safety policies. Qualifications Experienced, qualified, and confident in all aspects of dog grooming, from bathing and drying to breed‑specific styling and finishing. Hold a recognized grooming qualification. Customer‑focused, with a friendly and professional approach. Flexible and reliable, able to work a variable schedule across six days a week (minimum 24 hours/week, with potential for more during busy periods). Team‑oriented, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced retail environment. Goal‑driven, with experience in target‑led environments (preferred but not essential). Benefits Attractive hourly pay plus commission, subject to targets. 28 days paid annual leave (33 days after 2 years, including 8 bank holidays); pro‑rated on contracted hours.
