If this position has a work location in the UK, you must be eligible to work in the UK to be considered.OverviewSHIFTSHE - Shift Std 3 Rotate 17% (United Kingdom)A BRIEF OVERVIEWThe Maintenance Technician performs machine maintenance and facility repairs on most of the site's machines according to safety regulations and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.What you will doProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment as required.Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain the site's equipment.Perform mechanic work including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.Perform preventive maintenance on all machines, equipment, and plant facility.May perform basic plumbing or electrical maintenance functions.Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.Perform major repairs on production equipment.Comply with all relevant health and safety rules and regulations.Is trained on and can independently perform maintenance on most of the machines in the shop.Education QualificationsBachelor (Preferred)Experience Qualifications2+ Years Experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance (Required)Electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and/or industrial Experience (Preferred)Plumbing and HVAC experience (Preferred)Licenses and CertificationsRepair & Maintenance\Certified Maintenance Professional (CMP)-IMI Repair & Maintenance\Certified Maintenance Professional (CMP)-IMI (Preferred)Property/Real Estate Management\HVAC Certification Property/Real Estate Management\HVAC Certification (Preferred)Repair & Maintenance\Certified Maintenance Management-NAFA Repair & Maintenance\Certified Maintenance Management-NAFA (Preferred)Knowledge & Skills that Enable SuccessActive Learning - Basic KnowledgeAccuracy and Attention to Detail - Working ExperienceBlueprint Reading - Working ExperienceCalibration - Working ExperienceCommunication - Basic KnowledgeDecision Making and Critical Thinking - Working ExperienceElectrical Engineering - Working ExperienceManufacturing Equipment - Working ExperienceManufacturing Safety - Working ExperienceProblem Solving - Working ExperiencePhysical DemandsMust be able to remain in a stationary position - OccasionallyMust be able to move about the inside of the building - ConstantlyMust be able to move equipment around the building - ConstantlyMust be able to ascend/descend stairs or ladders - OccasionallyMust be able to position oneself and move under/around/over equipment - FrequentlyMust be able to handle/adjust/inspect/position various items and equipment - FrequentlyMust be able to communicate and exchange information with others - FrequentlyMust be able to perform tasks that require repetitive handling/adjusting/inspecting/positioning of items and equipment - FrequentlyMust be able to distinguish and detect information such as writing and defects - ConstantlyMust be able to move equipment - ConstantlyWorking ConditionsNoise - OccasionallyCURRENT VERSION: 10What We OfferAbility to help people live a longer, more active lifeOpportunity to work in a growing companyComprehensive benefit packageAbility to work in an organization that values:Integrity First: We do the right thingTeamwork: We are One OrchidResults: Our results matter #J-18808-Ljbffr
