Since our launch in 2019, we have been ranked among the UK’s Top 20 Large Nursery Groups for four consecutive years—an achievement driven by parent reviews and sector-wide recognition.About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the nursery clean and tidy, reporting any potential maintenance issues to the Maintenance team:To clean all areas of the day nursery including toilets, kitchen, play rooms and staff areasTo clean all surfaces of the day nursery including floors, paintwork, tiles and wallsReport any maintenance issues that prevent safe and efficient cleaning of these areasTo remove all bottles and recyclable materials to the relevant position or bin and ensuring anything recyclable is recycledensuring that shortages do not prevent cleaningEnsure all high and low level dusting is completedTo be committed to the safeguarding of all childrenThis role is for 10 hours per week, 2 hours per day - 5-7pm OR 6pm-8pm.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on qualifications and experience50% childcare discount (from day one) and 10% referral discount for friends and familiesMental Health First Aiders, and Wellbeing ChampionsExtensive training and CPD opportunities: e-learning, apprenticeships, F2F trainingEnhanced holiday entitlement, increasing with length of serviceAnnual Employee awards ceremony for all staffFree meals – Breakfast & LunchWhat We’re Looking ForHave proven experience in a similar roleAble to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the setting at all timesBe able to identify any needs/and or issues around the nurserySafeguarding & ComplianceMiChild is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
