We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious, UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy. They have a growing presence in the South East of England, and require a P401 qualified Asbestos Bulk Analyst to join their team. Applicants must have a successful track record of analysing bulk asbestos samples and ensuring deadlines are met or exceeded. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-regarded name within the industry, who are able to offer excellent further training and development opportunities. Applicants will need to be located in: Dartford, Erith, Bexleyheath, Sidcup, Bromley, Orpington, Gravesend, Sevenoaks, Oxted, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Aylesford, Snodland, Chatham, Rainham, Sittingbourne, Sheerness, Maidstone, Staplehurst, Ashford, Caterham, Sheerness, Grays, Tilbury. Experience / Qualifications Must hold the BOHS P401 qualification Existing experience working as an Asbestos Bulk / Lab Analyst, within a UKAS accredited laboratory Able to work in accordance with HSG and UKAS guidelines Strong organisational skills Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills Hardworking and professional The Role Completing analysis on ACM samples, using PLM and stereo microscopy methods Safely storing and logging samples Confirming presence and type of asbestos present in samples Updating internal records with results Issuing certificates directly to clients Working to agreed deadlines and targets Overseeing the maintenance of lab equipment Participating in quality assurance checks Future Select are the leading market supplier for recruitment in the Asbestos industry; we work with the best clients and candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the asbestos market.
