Psychology Graduates – Learning Support Assistants (Immediate Start) £90–£115 per day Various schools across Newcastle Full-time & long-term roles available Immediate start | Enhanced DBS required Are you a Psychology graduate with a genuine interest in supporting young people? We’re looking for graduates who are patient, empathetic, and ready to make a difference in the classroom. As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with pupils who have additional needs such as autism, ADHD, or social, emotional and mental health challenges. It’s a hands‑on role where every day brings a new opportunity to make a positive impact. What you’ll be doing: Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups Helping teachers create calm, inclusive learning environments Encouraging confidence, communication, and emotional wellbeing Assisting with behaviour and learning support strategies What we’re looking for: A degree in Psychology or a related subject An interest in child development or special educational needs Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one) What we offer: Weekly pay through PAYE – no umbrella companies Free access to our online CPD Academy Guidance and support from a dedicated local consultant Opportunities across mainstream, SEND, and alternative settings Fast-track registration for an immediate start All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
