A comprehensive benefits package and transparent career development opportunities are offered within this vibrant engineering environment.About the job:Our client requires a Systems Engineering Consultant to work across various activities at different stages of the systems engineering lifecycle. Responsibilities include:Research and concept development of systems solutions.Development and management of system requirements using tools such as DOORS and RDL.Development of abstract architectures using languages like UML and SysML, and tools such as Rhapsody, SparxWorks Enterprise Architect, MooD, frameworks like MoDAF and NAF.Design process engineering for hardware, software, and mixed technology systems.Systems safety engineering, including safety requirements analysis.Systems integration, structuring, and partitioning of complex systems.Systems performance evaluation for verification and validation.System integrity analysis, resilience, and impact assessment.Environmental impact evaluation over the system's lifecycle.Systems qualification and acceptance.About you:Your skills and qualifications should include:Experience in multiple phases of systems engineering activities.Background in systems or similar engineering disciplines within complex environments, often with procurement experience.A minimum of a technical degree, equivalent qualification, or experience.Ability to resolve ambiguity in tasks, systems, and requirements.Effective communication with stakeholders.Delivery focus and determination to make a positive impact.Flexibility and adaptability.Desirable Experience:Experience working closely with demanding customers.Experience in relevant technology disciplines, processes, or tools.Relevant certifications such as CEng, CSEP, MSP, Prince2, APMP, ADKAR, Agile, or postgraduate qualifications.Position Details:Senior Systems Engineering Consultant in Bristol. Salary ranges from £45,000 to £65,000 depending on experience.
