Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Project Coordinator to be based at our customer’s site in Gaydon. Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery. Role As a Chassis Engineering Project Coordinator, you will support the delivery of chassis systems across vehicle programmes, ensuring technical excellence and on-time delivery. You’ll help cross-functional teams and interface with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier partners to deliver world-class ride, handling, and refinement. Area of Responsibility Programme Delivery: Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of chassis systems (suspension, steering, brakes, wheels & tires) across assigned vehicle programmes. Technical Integration: Ensure chassis components meet performance, durability, and regulatory requirements while integrating seamlessly with vehicle architecture. Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed timing plans, cost targets, and resource forecasts. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams (Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing) and external suppliers to ensure alignment and issue resolution. Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans, and drive resolution of technical and delivery issues. Agile Ways of Working: Operate within Agile squads, contributing to sprint planning and backlog prioritization. Knowledge / Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Systems Engineering. Proven experience in chassis systems engineering and project management within the automotive sector. Strong understanding of chassis components, vehicle dynamics, and system integration. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and engineering documentation. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Experience Experience with EV platforms and lightweight chassis technologies. Familiarity with APQP, DFMEA, and automotive quality standards.
