OverviewJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and adaptable Mobile Cook to join our dynamic team in Coventry / Rugby. As a Mobile Cook, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality food preparation and cooking services across various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for excellence.The role£17.00 per hour35 hours per week working Monday – FridayTerm-time onlyPrepare, cook, and present food to meet company standards and client expectationsTravel to different locations as needed, using your own vehicleAdhere to and implement Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations in various kitchen environmentsMaintain a clean and organized workspace in each locationCollaborate with on-site teams to ensure smooth kitchen operationsAssist in managing inventories and monitoring budgets at assigned locationsImplement action plans to improve efficiency and food qualitySupervise and support kitchen staff as neededAdapt menus and cooking techniques to meet specific dietary requirements and preferencesEnsure excellent food presentation and customer serviceQualificationsProven experience as a cook or chef, with the ability to work in various kitchen settingsValid driver's license and reliable personal vehicleFood handling certificationStrong knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety regulationsExcellent culinary skills and ability to prepare diverse menusAdaptability to different kitchen environments and equipmentStrong time management and organizational skillsTeam player with the ability to work collaboratively in diverse settingsCustomer-focused approach with excellent communication skillsExperience in inventory management and budget monitoringAbility to supervise and guide kitchen staff effectivelyFlexibility to work in different locations as requiredPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy itemsDetail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and safetyAdditional InformationThere are many advantages to working for us including :With Caterlink you have the opportunity to a blended learning programme that can include formal qualifications including Apprenticeships, classroom training, eLearning and on the job training to support and encourage your development and enable you to be the best you can be.
