Quality Manager – TiptonPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to join our well-established client based in Tipton , on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a senior role in a high-integrity, regulated manufacturing environment, with real opportunities for career development and progression.ShiftsMonday – Friday, 8 : 00am – 5 : 00pm (39 hours per week)Rates of Pay£50,000 – £60,000 per annumBenefitsCompany pension schemeFree on-site parkingAttendance bonus upon successful completion of recruitmentLong-term permanent opportunity with career developmentDay-to-Day DutiesLeading the quality function across project and operational domains, including dimensional control, NDT, weld quality and quality engineeringDeveloping, implementing and maintaining a fully integrated QMS aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 3834 and wider industry standardsPreparing, reviewing and maintaining Project Quality Plans, ITPs, welding quality documentation and Lifetime RecordsConducting and leading root-cause investigations, CAPA activity and continuous improvement programmesEnsuring calibration, traceability and maintenance of all quality-critical equipment and gaugesProviding hands‑on quality support to production and engineering teams, promoting a “right first time” cultureParticipating in daily SQDCP meetings and taking prompt actions to prevent production disruptionSupporting the setup of a new manufacturing facility, embedding quality processes into layout, line design and inspection checkpointsMaintaining audit readiness, leading internal audits and ensuring regulatory and customer complianceRepresenting the quality function during client audits, inspections and cross‑functional reviewsMentoring and coaching the quality team and operational staff in quality standards and behavioursEssential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering or related subjectProven experience as a Quality Manager or Senior Quality Engineer within regulated, high-integrity manufacturing environments (aerospace, defence, or similar)Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 3834, EN 1090 and associated quality frameworksLead / Internal Auditor experience (ISO 9001)Experience generating and managing NCRs, QC grading and Lifetime RecordsHands‑on experience in dimensional inspection, NDT, welding quality and QMS implementationStrong problem‑solving capability using Lean Six Sigma or structured methodologies (DMAIC, 8D, FMEA, SPC, 5S, 7W)Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skillsCompetent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to obtain BPSS and SC clearance (conditional requirement)Desirable ExperienceExperience supporting the setup of new manufacturing facilities and new‑QMS rolloutMembership of a professional body (e.g., CQI) or willingness to work towards itEngineering qualification desirableTraining ProvidedFull industry‑related training and ongoing development support will be providedApplyIf you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a Quality Manager , apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process. #J-18808-Ljbffr
