Role Overview The NICEIC Qualified Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all electrical works comply with NICEIC standards and regulations. You will act as the primary liaison with the accrediting body, oversee certification processes, and support site teams and management in maintaining compliance. Key Responsibilities Serve as the designated 'Qualifying Supervisor' under NICEIC rules, ensuring all electrical works meet accreditation requirements. Oversee the completion and issuance of all required NICEIC certifications in a timely manner to support project handover and O&M documentation. Monitor and verify electrical inspection and testing results to prevent project delays. Conduct regular site surveys to assess compliance and quality of electrical installations. Inspect installations performed by both in-house staff and subcontractors to ensure full adherence to IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and NICEIC standards. Compile and maintain detailed site survey reports, clearly communicating required actions to project teams and management. Ensure all inspection and test results are accurately recorded on the relevant certificates using company systems. Assist with audits, annual assessments, and any testing required to maintain NICEIC accreditation. Qualifications & Experience Qualified electrician with recognized qualifications such as 2360 Part 1 & 2 / 2330 Level 2 & 3, or equivalent, including NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or other approved craft qualifications. Knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations, 18th Edition (BS 7671 : 2018), including relevant amendments. Electrical Inspection and Testing certification (C&G 2391 or equivalent). Previous experience as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor. Strong communication, relationship management, and interpersonal skills with experience coordinating with staff and contractors. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and maintain high standards of compliance and quality.
