Class 2 Driver (Removals) – Temp to Perm
Location: Stone
Pay: Up to £14.50 per hour
Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 6–12 hour shifts depending on the move)
We are currently seeking a Class 2 Driver to join a well-established and growing removals company. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a motivated Class 2 Driver looking for long-term stability and a varied, hands-on role.
About the Role As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for more than just driving. The majority of the work involves loading and unloading vehicles, so applicants must be physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy items.
Although this is a Class 2 Driver position, there may be occasions where you are required to drive 3.5-tonne vans for jobs with restricted access. You will still be paid at the Class 2 rate.
This is a Monday to Friday position with no weekend working required.
Key Responsibilities
Driving Class 2 (Category C) and 3.5T vehicles for residential and commercial removals
Loading, unloading, and securing items safely in line with company procedures
Providing excellent customer service at all times in this customer-facing role
Working occasional nights out (hotel and allowance provided)Requirements
Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
Physically fit and able to handle manual work
Strong customer service and communication skills
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous removals experience desirable but not essential (full training provided)
