An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Psychologist to work in an exceptional hospital setting based in the Dewsbury, West Yorkshire area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers.This hospital provides a specialist inpatient service for adults and older age males with severe and enduring mental health conditions, who may also have an undiagnosed memory related illness. Our client also provides a specialist neuro-cognitive and dementia care service for males presenting with very agitated or aggressive behaviour.To be considered for this position you must hold a relevant qualification in Psychology and registered with the HCPCAs the Psychologist your key responsibilities include :Identifies and delivers appropriate and relevant treatments and interventions within the given field of therapy, in order to promote and develop the mental, emotional, physical and social well-being of clients; liaising with family and carersReceives and responds promptly to referrals undertaking assessments to determine and plan an effective therapy programme for assigned clients using appropriate and relevant treatments, activities and interventionsFacilitates individual and group therapy sessions within the given field of therapy ensuring activities and interventions continue to meet the needs of the client, and are consistent with the provisions detailed in the client’s therapy planManages an assigned caseload within agreed timescales ensuring regular interaction and communication with clients, professional colleagues and clinical staffMaintains accurate and up-to-date records in the form of case notes, case files, clinical reports, computerised information systems and other associated documentation presenting and sharing relevant information and knowledge concerning assigned clients with professional and clinical colleagues at regular MDT meetingsLeads and co-ordinates professional and clinical colleagues, providing psychotherapeutic advice and guidance, and assists with the analysis of statistical data and information for research and audit purposesThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role :Have Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate post-graduate qualificationsBe an approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant divisionHave understanding evidence-based psychological practiceHave experience of applying psychological knowledge to a clinical settingBe experienced working with clients with cognitive deficitsHave previous experience of conducting research and project workingIn return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits :25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (at commencement of employment) plus a day off for your birthdayA Group Personal Pension Plan (GPPP)Free parkingLong Service Annual Leave entitlementsCarefirst – Employee Assistance ServicesContinuous learning and developmentVoluntary BenefitsReference ID : 6903To apply for this fantastic job role, please call on 0121 638 0567 or send your CV to contact@jupiterrecruitment.co.uk #J-18808-Ljbffr
