OverviewSenior Frontend Developer | FarehamUp to £75k Plus Package | Fast-Growth Tech Scale-Up | High Ownership RoleI’m supporting a rapidly scaling technology business that’s building innovative, globally distributed digital products- and they’re now looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to take full ownership of their web UI and lead a major modernisation of their frontend architecture.This is an on-site role based in a newly refurbished, award-winning workspace in Fareham, Hampshire, joining a collaborative, open, and fast-paced environment where engineering has a direct and visible impact on product direction.The OpportunityYou’ll be the technical lead for the frontend- guiding the transition from a vanilla TypeScript / SASS setup to a modern framework such as React, Vue, or Svelte . This is a chance to shape best practices, introduce new tooling, and own the future of the frontend codebase.If you enjoy architecting great user experiences, influencing technical decisions, and building elegant, scalable interfaces, this one is for you.What You’ll Be DoingLeading the rewrite of the frontend using a modern JavaScript frameworkDesigning clean, reusable, scalable UI componentsCollaborating closely with backend engineers (Python / Django) on API integrationsMaintaining and improving existing TypeScript / SASS code during the transitionEnsuring performance, accessibility, and reliability across the appContributing to architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical planningImplementing robust testing across the frontend stackWhat We’re Looking ForStrong experience building modern frontend applications with TypeScriptExpertise in React, Vue, Svelte, or a similar modern JS frameworkDeep understanding of HTML5, CSS3 / SASS, responsive design, and UI best practicesExperience integrating with REST APIsFamiliarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Cypress, etc.)Knowledge of modern build tools (Vite, Webpack, etc.)Nice-to-haveExposure to Django-based systemsExperience with CI / CD for frontend workflowsUnderstanding of Dockerised developmentStrong UX / UI sensibilityWhy This Role Stands OutHuge influence on frontend architecture and technology choicesA genuinely collaborative engineering cultureHigh autonomy and ownership over the product’s directionStrong investment and a clear, exciting roadmapCompetitive package + great environment + career progressionIf this sounds like you then please click apply now #J-18808-Ljbffr
