The successful candidate must have the capability and ambition to grow into a leadership role at the highest level of the business.The Associate Director will hold overall responsibility for all aspects of the organisation’s activities, including establishing and maintaining the organisation’s vision, mission and values; defining its structure, strategy and risk profile; and managing, monitoring, and evaluating the implementation of policies, strategies, and operational plans. The role is accountable to shareholders and other stakeholders.Applicants should have at least ten years’ post-Chartership experience of leading and managing a building services team, office, or similar business. Candidates must hold an Engineering Level 7 qualification (MEng or equivalent) and be a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent).Liaise, collaborate and coordinate with other project team membersAttend meetings and represent the organisation externallyMaintain and develop client relationshipsDiscuss and resolve with the client any issues they may have with the performance of Webb YatesEnsure projects are delivered in line with company proceduresReview and agree project strategy (programme, fees, technical delivery, resourcing) with project leadReview financial and technical performance of projectsEnsure the project team are working within the agreed scopeMaintain and update billing plans and invoicing schedulesProvide technical support to projects in terms of reviews or facilitating Director or specialist inputShow All Project ResponsibiltiesUphold Webb Yates’ policies and code of conductAct professionally and with due regard to the public interest and the interests of all those affected by professional activitiesAlign with and demonstrate company culture and valuesSet the company strategyLead on shared responsibility of company management as defined by the Director’s responsibilities matrixUndertake recruitment where requiredLead company meetingsCommit to developing professional skillsSupport technical development of the teamLine manage Associate Engineers and belowShow All Management Responsibilties25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysIncreased annual leave allowance for long serviceDay off on your birthdayPaid half day per year for volunteeringReimbursement of professional membership feesFlexitime (core hours 10am – 4pm)Company performance related bonus schemeEnhanced maternity and shared parental leave #J-18808-Ljbffr
