Sales Estimator

*Sales Estimator / Business Development Manager *Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.*Job Summary*We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Aluminium *Shopfront, Window & Door Estimator *to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating project costs and preparing accurate estimates for various installation projects, both domestic and commercial. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, materials and labour costs, ensuring that all estimates are comprehensive and competitive. You will then be responsible for ordering materials for jobs that are accepted. As a small team, duties will not be limited to those shown and will also involve keeping training records up to date and preparing health and safety documents. Whilst the role will begin as an estimator, it will soon progress into that of the _*Sales & Business Development Manager *_and involve the growth of existing and new customer relations.*Duties** Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work required.* Prepare detailed cost estimates by analysing labour, materials, equipment and overhead expenses.* Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.* Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather information for estimating purposes.* Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing information.* Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.* Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid documents and presenting estimates to clients.* Stay updated on industry trends, regulations and best practices to enhance estimating accuracy.* Order required materials to ensure that budgets and timescales are met.*Skills** Proficient in using estimating software and tools for cost calculations.* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in evaluating project specifications.* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy in estimations.* Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant building codes is essential.* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.* Previous experience in a similar role within the window and door industry is highly desirable.
