What you will do Hold and manage a caseload of Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care cases, ensuring all actions align with the Knowledge and Skills Statement for Child and Family Social Workers. Maintain comprehensive case records including assessments, plans, and court reports to uphold professional standards. Engage in direct work with children, young people, and families using a solid understanding of child development and effective communication skills. Conduct critically-reflective analyses to assess child and family circumstances, making informed decisions based on current theory. Coordinate with external stakeholders ensuring seamless communication and collaboration in line with the Working Together policy. Contribute actively to team dynamics, assisting managers and supporting colleagues to meet service goals. Participate in the Social Care Academy to support a culture of learning and personal professional development.
