About The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP Belmarsh. Hours The site currently offers bank shifts of 7am to 7pm. Salary This position is a bank role and you’ll receive an hourly rate of £15.80. How will we support you? What you'll be doing Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care. Qualifications Required NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care A non-judgmental and compassionate approach Excellent communication skills Good IT skills and IT literacy Ability to work within a busy environment Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
