Facilities Technician

We're looking for a Casual Facilities Technician to help us keep our schools safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone who uses them. We are looking for a responsible person who will be able to arrive punctually to unlock the premises prior to the start of the hiring period and welcome our customers. You will manage the security, as well as completing the required cleaning schedules for each let. As a Casual Facilities Technician, you will unlock the school and greet visitors for lettings and will be on site for the duration of each letting, being the go‑to person for any queries that may arise. The role will include carrying out a light clean of rooms after each letting (e.g. swimming pool, training rooms, school hall). You may be asked to tackle small DIY tasks, depending on your experience. The Casual Facilities Technician will be responsible for locking up and making sure the building is secure at the end of each session. Someone who is reliable, friendly and punctual with a flexible and adaptable approach to working. Someone who is comfortable with light physical work. Experience of cleaning. Excellent communication skills.
