Stable Minds CIC also specializes in creating care packages designed to provide essential support for clients and their families in times of crisis. Role Description: This is a self‑employed role based in Knutsford, with some remote work flexibility. As a Counsellor at Stable Minds CIC, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals and groups, addressing a range of challenges such as anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Daily activities will include conducting one‑on‑one counselling sessions, facilitating support groups, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals. The role also involves creating and delivering day workshops and offering personalized care recommendations for clients navigating crisis situations. Qualifications Strong foundation in counseling techniques, psychotherapy practices, and emotional support strategies Expertise in group facilitation and experience conducting support sessions aimed at issues such as mental health challenges, addiction, or trauma Skills in active listening, empathy, and effective communication Proficiency in maintaining confidentiality and adhering to mental health regulatory standards and guidelines Ability to assess client needs, develop care plans, and recommend appropriate resources Relevant academic qualifications in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field Previous experience in a therapeutic or counseling role focusing on mental health is highly desirable Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work structure—comfort with in‑person and remote work expectations Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Other #J-18808-Ljbffr
