OverviewOur client is currently seeking a highly organised and proactive, friendly and professional Office Administrator / Receptionist to join their team as the first point of contact for the company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operation of the office, managing administrative tasks, supporting staff, and maintaining a productive and positive work environment. You will also manage the front desk as needed, greeting visitors, and handling various administrative tasks to maintain a positive image of the company.This role is full-time and office-based; there is no hybrid work available. Closing date for applications – 2 September 2025. Salary: £25k to £31k dependent on experience.ResponsibilitiesGreet and welcome visitors with a warm and friendly demeanour.Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments.Provide basic information to clients and visitors.Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient functioning of office equipment and facilities.Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, deliveries and mail.Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.Maintain and update office records, databases, and filing systems.Support HR functions, including onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records.Assist in company events, meetings, and team-building activities.Liaise with vendors, service providers, and third parties as required.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Any other duties as required by the Manager.QualificationsProven experience as an Office Administrator, Office Manager, Receptionist or similar role.Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Basic accounting principles is a plus.Salary : £25k to £31k dependent on experience.If you have not heard from us within two weeks of submitting your CV, then please assume that you have not been successful on this occasion #J-18808-Ljbffr
