This team forms the critical core of our award-winning Accelerator Lab, placing you at the very heart of our innovation.The purpose of this role is to design, develop, and implement software solutions that bridge the gap between our marketing and financial technology domains. You will have direct access to cutting-edge AI development, moving beyond just using AI tools to actively building with them. You'll gain hands‑on experience with agentic AI frameworks to create intelligent systems that drive optimisations across every element of our newly expanded group.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild a Unified Future: Develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable applications using Node.js, PHP, and Python to serve both marketing clients and fintech platforms.Pioneer with Applied AI: Utilise Python and leading agentic frameworks to design, build, and deploy intelligent automation and optimisation engines for the entire group.Integrate and Unite Systems: Play a key role in integrating disparate software systems, APIs, and data sources across the group, solving unique challenges that arise at the intersection of marketing and finance.Collaborate and Communicate: Work effectively in an agile environment with diverse teams of developers, data scientists, and financial experts, translating business needs into technical specifications.Ensure Code Quality: Adhere to company coding standards, perform code reviews, and maintain clear technical documentation to ensure the long‑term quality and maintainability of our systems.Provide Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production systems, ensuring high levels of performance and reliability.Skills and QualificationsWe're looking for a Midweight Software Engineer with a passion for building things and a curiosity that extends beyond a single industry.A minimum of 2-3 years of commercial experience in a software development role.Proficiency in at least one of the following: Node.js, PHP, or Python.Experience with modern PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and version control with Git.Comfortable working with HTML and CSS to implement and tweak front‑end templates.An AI Enthusiast: A genuine excitement for the potential of AI. You don't need to be an expert, but you have a strong desire to learn and apply AI methodologies in your work.Knowledge of cloud platforms (particularly AWS) and containerisation (Docker).Why Join Us?
