Base pay range Bank Domestic Assistant at Burleys Wood Salary: £12.60 per hour Hours: Bank - Zero hours Shift Times: As/when needed in the service, shifts between 8am-5pm Shaw healthcare is looking for a Bank Domestic Assistant who is ready to make a positive impact at Burleys Wood, a modern 60 en-suite bedroom designed care home situated in the quiet residential suburb of Furnace Green just outside Crawley town centre. The purpose-built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia. Job Responsibilities Clean and sanitize rooms including furnishings in assigned work areas. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry, causing minimal disruption to our services users and their care. Communicate and engage effectively with our service users, their families and colleagues; good interpersonal and working relationship skills are essential. Work without direct supervision. Use a variety of cleaning products paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products. Work on your own initiative and maintain a high level of hygiene within the home.
