Our client is a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy and is one of the top players within the asbestos industry. Due to consistent growth and business requirements, they are currently seeking to recruit a high calibre, committed, flexible and multi‑skilled Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst, based in and around the Twickenham area. Applications will be considered from Slough, Woking, Mitcham, Wembley and the surrounding areas. Qualifications & Experience Extensive qualification: P402 / P403 / P404 asbestos qualifications or the equivalent RSPH certificate. Hands on experience in asbestos surveying or asbestos air‑monitoring within the asbestos industry. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with the Health and Safety pertaining to asbestos. Proficient in using Microsoft Office. Good client‑facing and organisational skills. Key Tasks Carrying out asbestos smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual 4‑stage clearance and re‑occupation and personal air‑testing. Monitoring asbestos contractors on site carrying out asbestos removal work and ensuring that they adhere to the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos. Carrying out asbestos Management and Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various buildings, including commercial and industrial site bases. Collating and producing comprehensive asbestos reports as and when required. Liaising with clients on a regular basis – building a good working rapport with clients. Requirements / Attributes Must be an all‑rounder with a strong work ethic and the ability to carry out the work effectively and within the required time frame.
