City of Westminster, United Kingdom Hastings Insurance Services Limited Full time

We're looking for a creative, curious, and user-obsessed Product Designer to join our Product Design team. In this role, you will contribute to the end-to-end design of digital products that help millions of customers manage their insurance with clarity and confidence. You will work collaboratively with product managers, engineers, researchers, data specialists, and business stakeholders to design intuitive, elegant, and accessible solutions. Responsibilities Contribute to the full design lifecycle—from discovery and research through to concept, prototyping, delivery, and iteration. Collaborate closely with product teams to understand business goals, customer needs, and technical constraints. Design user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes that communicate clear solutions. Conduct usability tests, customer interviews, and data‑driven evaluations to validate ideas and improve user experience. Translate complex insurance journeys and regulatory requirements into simple, human‑centred experience patterns. Present design work clearly and confidently to stakeholders, influencing decision‑making through evidence‑based insights. We're committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. If you require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, we encourage you to be open with us. Our recruitment team is here to provide the support you need to ensure a fair and accessible experience for all. Qualifications You have experience designing digital products, ideally within consumer-facing or fintech/insurance environments. You're confident with standard design tools (Figma, FigJam, Make, etc.). You're highly collaborative and comfortable working in cross‑functional teams. You bring a strong portfolio that demonstrates user‑centred design thinking, clear process, and effective outcomes. You understand UX principles, UI best practices, and responsive design. You thrive in fast‑paced, agile environments and can balance multiple priorities. You communicate clearly, both visually and verbally.
