The Company
We are seeking an experienced Project Director to join our ambitious team, playing a central role in winning and delivering large-scale design & build projects. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will drive business growth, build strong client relationships, and oversee the entire project lifecycle from concept to completion.
Your focus will be on achieving and exceeding sales targets, protecting margins, and ensuring our turnkey solutions deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with the Sales Director to develop and execute strategic plans that drive sales and secure new project opportunities.
Promote our turnkey approach to differentiate us in a competitive market.
Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring smooth coordination between Pre-Construction Managers, Designers, and Project Managers.
Serve as the key point of contact for major clients, ensuring their expectations are fully met.
Attend client meetings, capturing briefs across design, build, and furniture for clarity across internal teams.
Convert qualified leads into high-value turnkey opportunities.
Lead multi-disciplinary pitch teams to create compelling, cohesive proposals.
Monitor KPIs including quotes, orders, invoice value, gross profit percentage, and conversion rates.
Negotiate commercially sound agreements that protect and maximise margins.
Build and maintain strong relationships, addressing concerns and providing ongoing project updates.
Ensure high-quality project delivery that exceeds client expectations.
Uphold Company Values and work collaboratively across Design, Pre-Construction, and Operations.
Foster a positive, high-performing culture across project teams.
Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience within design & build or construction, with strong understanding of commercial interiors.
Proven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams and multiple projects concurrently.
Strong commercial awareness, with a track record of meeting sales targets and protecting GP%.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to build effective, long-term client relationships.
