RYA Dinghy Trainer / Operations Manager / RYA Principal We’re searching for a passionate Senior Watersports Instructor to join our watersports team and help create unforgettable moments for visitors of all ages. If you love the outdoors and want to make a real impact, then join us. Job Purpose As a Senior Instructor, you will bring experience and guidance to our Watersports team throughout the season. This position requires excellent motivational skills, enthusiasm, and a passion for the sport. Your responsibilities will include assisting the Watersports Manager in delivering well-balanced and inclusive activities and courses, both on-water and shore-based, to a diverse range of users, in order to achieve the stated aims and objectives of the Charity. The role of an RYA Senior Instructor (SI) involves managing sailing courses and teams, overseeing on-water sessions, and mentoring instructors. Additionally, you will assist with fleet and centre maintenance to ensure the timely delivery of the Programme. Experience & Qualifications RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor (Essential) RYA Keelboat Endorsement (Desirable) RYA Powerboat Instructor (Desirable) Working in a role which requires public-facing responsibility Microsoft Office Skills Ability to work as part of a team Hours Full-time – 35 hours per week. This will be split over five days and will involve weekend working. The main hours are generally 9 am to 5 pm, but this may fluctuate according to the season. Term Permanent Remuneration £25,207 – £28,000 per annum Benefits 28 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays), Pension, sick pay, Birthday leave after one year, Cycle to Work Scheme, free gym use, free tea and coffee, free watersports training (if desired).
