OverviewHours: 40hrs Monday - FridayWhat this job involvesAs an Multi Skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias at JLL, you'll be part of a team that's shaping a brighter way for our client Rolls-Royce and fellow employees. You'll apply your expertise to design, install, and maintain electrical systems in various commercial and industrial settings. Your work will directly impact the comfort and efficiency of our clients\' spaces, contributing to JLL\'s commitment to creating optimal work environments.What your day-to-day will look likeMaintenance, troubleshooting and repair of low voltage electrical systems, including but not limited to lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, security systems, emergency lighting, and access control.Testing and Inspection: Conduct regular testing and inspection of low voltage electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and relevant codes. Complete necessary documentation and reports accurately.Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve faults in low voltage electrical systems, using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques. Carry out repairs and replacements as necessary to ensure uninterrupted functionality.Preventive Maintenance: Carry out planned preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime, increase system reliability, and extend the lifespan of low voltage electrical systems. Create and maintain maintenance schedules.Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Comply with electrical regulations, codes, and standards to ensure safety and minimize risks. Report any hazards or incidents promptly.Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other team members, contractors, and clients to achieve project goals and customer satisfaction. Provide guidance and support to junior team members when required. Documentation andReporting: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, work orders, and equipment inventory. Ensure that relevant documentation and records are up to date.RequirementsC&G Level 2 and 3 Diploma Electrical Installation (Or Equivalent)C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (Test & Inspection cert preferred)18th editionStrong Electrical & HVAC experienceKnowledge of heating and air conditioning systemsKnowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs when requiredSound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations about maintenance activitiesMust be prepared to work out of hours when requiredOn call one in five weeks (allowance paid), JLL transport providedHave good communication and organisation skillsHave a positive ‘can do’ attitudeMust have a full UK driving licenseAbility to work on own or as part of a teamAt JLL, we believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive.
