About the Role As a Playground Supervisor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, happy, and inclusive environment for children during morning and lunchtime play sessions. You will work as part of a dedicated team to supervise playground activities, promote positive behaviour, and encourage children to develop social skills through play. Your responsibilities will include monitoring designated play areas, initiating games, providing basic first aid when needed, and ensuring smooth transitions back to lessons. You will also support the implementation of Individual Education Plans and assist with pastoral care when required. This is a varied role that may involve additional tasks such as helping on school trips, chaperoning on buses, and carrying out light administrative duties. Who We Are Looking For You are enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about supporting children’s well-being. You have excellent communication skills and can remain calm under pressure. You are proactive, able to work independently, and committed to promoting positive behaviour and safe play. Experience working with young people is essential, and experience in a school setting is desirable.
