You’ll start by managing smaller tasks and steadily progress as your skills and confidence grow.ResponsibilitiesAssist in creating CAD models and prototypes under the guidance of senior design engineersSupport the team through concept development and R&D stagesParticipate in design reviews and contribute ideasStay informed on emerging technologies, materials, and methodsHelp build a design library leveraging AI toolsCollaborate closely with commercial teamsRepresent the business at customer sites, internal meetings, and industry events such as trade shows and exhibitionsQualificationsHas some experience in a design related role (Design Engineer, Design Technician, Trainee Designer) or is a recent graduatePossesses strong 3D design skills – SolidWorks preferred, but other 3D packages consideredIs ambitious, eager to learn, and focused on career developmentComfortable being customer-facing and providing on-site technical supportHas experience using AI tools in design processesHolds an apprenticeship or degree in an engineering discipline (mechanical or product design advantageous)Application ProcessOur mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
