We focus on technology adoption, new habits, and evolving demands to deliver excellence through entrepreneurial spirit, teamwork and employee empowerment.Missions / Main DutiesWork with a team of engineers producing and delivering the electrical design of allocated M&E Projects as instructed by the Projects Lead M&E Engineer.Be a good communicator and a self‑motivated team player able to work with minimal supervision.Build and maintain good relationships with engineers from other internal discipline teams to promote Good Inter‑Discipline working relationships and a "One Team" ethos.DutiesEnsure projects are completed to meet all client’s requirements and applicable standards.Ensure designs meet CRE/Lead Engineers requirements.Ensure designs are completed to the timescales agreed with the CRE/Lead Engineer.Plan the allocated design works to meet the agreed timescales.Identify changes to the projects client requirements and raise them with the CRE/Lead Engineer.Profile / SkillsEssentialFlexibility in working hours to meet the role’s demands.Ability to travel to client sites and other SYSTRA offices.Knowledge of electrical services design within the built environment and/or transport infrastructure, including railway lineside systems (points heating, signalling power, level crossings, LV distribution) and/or lighting, small power, containment, earthing or fire alarms.Experience using Trimble ProDesign/Electrical OM, Microstation and/or Relux/Dialux Design Software.Knowledge of multi‑disciplinary issues associated with M&E and/or building services.DesirableAbility to undertake overseas assignments where required.Experience working with offshore Production Centres.Ideally an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer.Qualified to HNC or equivalent.Experience working in Network Rail IP ProjectWise and/or BIM Standards.Knowledge of construction principles and standards.Seniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeFull‑time #J-18808-Ljbffr
