Bath, Bath and North East Somerset, United Kingdom Curo Group Full time
Senior Project Surveyor (Warm Homes) - Lead £Multi-Million Government Retrofit Programme

Join to apply for the Senior Project Surveyor (Warm Homes) - Lead £Multi-Million Government Retrofit Programme role at Curo

Full Time | 3-year Fixed Term Contract | 37 hours per week

Your Expertise. Our Communities. A Sustainable Future.

The government's Warm Homes Project is transforming the energy efficiency of social housing across Britain. In Bath, this presents a unique challenge: delivering retrofit solutions across a diverse portfolio that includes both contemporary and heritage properties.

We have submitted a substantial bid for Wave 3 funding - now we need an experienced Senior Surveyor to lead this ambitious programme. You'll be balancing innovative retrofit solutions with the architectural sensitivity that our historic city demands.

This is no ordinary surveying role. You'll be at the forefront of one of the UK's largest social housing retrofit programmes, leading a dedicated team to improve thousands of homes, reduce fuel poverty, and tackle climate change.

Imagine delivering warm, energy-efficient homes that transform lives while building your expertise in this rapidly growing sector.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead our multi-million-pound Warm Homes programme, making strategic decisions that transform thousands of homes
  • Build and develop a high-performing technical team to deliver innovative retrofit solutions across Bath
  • Pioneer approaches that balance modern energy technologies with the sensitivity our historic buildings demand
  • Drive partnerships with industry leaders to implement cutting-edge solutions from heat pumps to smart home systems
  • Champion resident-centered improvements that reduce fuel poverty while enhancing comfort and wellbeing
  • Shape Curo's long-term sustainability strategy, positioning us at the forefront of the green housing revolution

What you'll get in return

Beyond a salary of £51,466 and the chance to make a real difference every day, you'll get:

  • 26 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays) rising to 29 days after 3 years
  • Your birthday off as an extra holiday
  • Up to 10% matched pension contribution
  • Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days home)
  • Flexible benefits which might include a Health Cash Plan
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Programme for your own wellbeing.

More about you

You're an MRICS qualified surveyor ready to play a pivotal role in the UK's green housing revolution.

Whether you're in private practice looking for purposeful work, or in social housing ready for a bigger challenge, you understand the unique opportunity this government-backed programme presents.

Your experience working with diverse property types, potentially including historic buildings, will help you develop appropriate solutions across our Bath-based portfolio.

You combine technical excellence with strong programme leadership, helping you balance delivery targets with resident needs. Most importantly, you're passionate about creating sustainable communities.

This role offers the chance to shape the future of social housing at a critical time. It's perfect for someone who wants to lead meaningful change while developing expertise in the growing retrofit sector.
