Overview Band 4 CAMHS Coordinator12 months fixed term – maternity leave cover About the Service City & Hackney Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is part of the East London NHS Foundation Trust. We deliver community‑based services for children and young people with mental health problems across City & Hackney. Our multi‑disciplinary teams work together to support children and young people up to the age of 18, partnering with service users, their families and social networks to provide treatment for depression, psychosis, eating disorders, self‑harm and emotional problems. Key Responsibilities Provide a comprehensive administrative service, processing all reports, correspondence and documentation, including medical prescribing, legal reports and child protection referrals. Efficiently collect, input and record case‑management data in line with service requirements. Identify and resolve data entry issues. Attend team meetings, prepare agendas, update the electronic system (RIO), take minutes and undertake any admin actions arising from the meeting. Produce minutes and actions following team meetings in a timely and efficient manner. Take and relay clear messages accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure all administrative systems are managed electronically where possible. When needed, ensure all incoming post is date‑stamped and distributed to the appropriate persons and that outgoing mail is sorted according to internal and external departments and relevant agencies. Work alongside and, when appropriate, cover other administration staff across multiple allocations. Core Skills and Competencies Ability to work independently, exercise initiative and manage a busy, demanding environment without direct supervision. Strong multi‑tasking and time‑management skills. Excellent communication and liaison skills with a broad range of professionals. Commitment to client confidentiality and professional standards.
