Overview Job Title: SEN Teacher Location: Rotherham (S60) Pay Rate: £150 – £250 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher committed to supporting pupils with special educational needs to achieve their full potential? GSL Education are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school in Rotherham (S60). This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching and tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to pupils with special educational needs. Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions. Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development in line with curriculum requirements. Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed. Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment. Work closely with colleagues, SENCOs, and parents to ensure holistic support for pupils. Requirements UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Proven experience teaching pupils with SEN in a primary or secondary setting. Strong knowledge of SEN frameworks, strategies, and differentiation techniques. Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
