The successful candidate will work as an MSK Sonographer ensuring the Ultrasound services at Croydon are delivered effectively. The Ultrasound Department is well equipped with up-to-date equipment. Sonographers work in the Main Ultrasound department, and the vascular department. Croydon University Hospital is a large urban DGH situated in South London, serving the needs of a diverse population of 360,000. It has one of the busiest A & E departments in London. Croydon has easy access to both central London and the south coast. The department performs in excess of 250,000 all examinations per annum and has an active Clinical Governance programme. There are currently approximately 100 WTE Staff in post in the Diagnostic Imaging department, including 22 Consultant Radiologists and Speciality Grade Doctors.
