We welcome everyone, celebrate differences, and encourage authenticity at work.Job RoleMoving household and office furniture and other items to new premises or storage, working in small to large teams.This role is zero-hours with potential for permanent employment after 6 months, contingent upon performance, ability, and reliability.ResponsibilitiesHousehold and office removals or relocationsHandling goods for storage or retrievalManaging specialist projects like hospital, library, or school equipment movesMoving fine art and furnitureDay-to-Day TasksSafely packaging items for removal or storageWrapping and protecting furniture for shipping, including overseasPre-move wrapping and packing delicate items like china, glass, artwork, and antiquesUsing packaging to safeguard fragile items such as computers or antiquesDisassembling large furniture for transportDismantling curtains and removing carpets if necessaryRemoving doors, door frames, or windows to facilitate large item movementPacking, loading, and securing items in vehiclesEnsuring goods are secure before transportationDriving to the new location, unloading, reassembling, and placing items as instructedUnwrapping furniture and unpacking cartonsRequirementsFlexible working hours as needed, including potential overnight stays for longer-distance moves.
