Neway are seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities Social Work Team with our client at Achieving for Children. Achieving for Children is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join their Children and Young People with Disabilities (CYPD) team in Windsor & Maidenhead. This locum role is to cover an extended period of authorised leave and is expected to last a minimum of 3 months. You’ll play a vital role in supporting children and young people aged 0‑18 with disabilities, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and access to the services they need to thrive. Hours per Week: 37 Working Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 Responsibilities Manage a caseload of children and young people with disabilities Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with statutory requirements Work closely with families, carers, and multi‑agency partners Prepare high‑quality reports for reviews, planning meetings, and court proceedings Advocate for the voices and rights of children and young people Maintain accurate and timely case records Qualifications Qualified Social Worker with active Social Work England registration Experience working with children and families, ideally within disability services Strong understanding of the Children Act 1989/2004 and related legislation Excellent communication, assessment, and report‑writing skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multi‑disciplinary team Car driver with daily access to a vehicle for business use This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward‑thinking, child‑centred organisation committed to improving outcomes for children and families.
