Join to apply for the Support Worker role at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Motor Neurone Specialist Practitioner service as a support worker. You will contribute to a comprehensive clinical service to clients referred with Motor Neurone Disease in the community. The post holder will be required to implement supervised clinical tasks as directed by the Specialist Practitioner in a range of community settings and carry out administrative tasks to support patient care, clinical governance, and clinical processes. You will work closely with clients and their families, so communication and compassion are important requirements for this role. Other key responsibilities include compliance with the standards and priorities set by the Specialist Practitioner, managing own clinical and clerical administration, maintaining patient records per departmental policies, caring for equipment and resources, monitoring needs, communicating concerns to qualified staff, and incident reporting. Due to recent changes in UK immigration and visa rules, this role may not be eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants who do not currently have the right to work in the UK may not be considered. Candidates requiring sponsorship should review the eligibility criteria on the gov.uk website before applying to assess their eligibility for a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
