Job summary This role as a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare in Beaconsfield offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on residents' lives every day. Job responsibilities Support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care. Provide a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes impacting on care and updating care plans. Implement and monitor person‑centred care plans, undertaking monthly evaluations. Support residents with their medication requirements. Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required. Act as a key point of contact with residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and any concerns or complaints are escalated. About you Have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes. Have 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment. Have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Maintain a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff. Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities. Other requirements DBS Disclosure check – the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK. Current UK professional registration. Contract details Permanent, full-time position.
