Job Title: Account Manager : Consumables – Field Sales Executive (per company’s naming) The Company Established over 130 years ago, our client is the UK’s acknowledged market leader in the supply (and manufacture) of materials handling and storage equipment. They offer over 45,000 lines of workplace equipment across categories such as PPE, screen protectors, recycling and waste bins, ladders, flooring, matting, cleaning and hygiene equipment, office furniture, access equipment, safety and security products plus many more. They supply a wide variety of vertical markets including Education, Health Care/NHS, Leisure Industry, Local Government, general private industry, etc. In fact, they doubt there is an industry they haven’t sold into since their inception in the 1800s. The Role The successful field‑based Account Manager will manage the Scotland Region, primarily calling on and managing a large number of existing accounts. Responsibilities Manage a well established territory. Plan journeys and call on a large number of existing accounts. Build strong relationships and a good understanding of client businesses. Farm accounts effectively. Remain commercially aware and pursue new business opportunities that arise. Work from home with a car (hybrid preferred), phone, and laptop. Candidate Profile Field sales background. Experience in product sales. Success in nurturing and building accounts. Ability to quickly build rapport and empathy. Experience in a business‑to‑business field sales environment. Hardworking, determined, takes pride in doing a good job.
