SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Doncaster Role: Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Doncaster Full-time, long-term (with potential to become permanent) Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child's life? We are seeking an experienced and nurturing 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and speech and communication needs at a warm, inclusive primary school in Doncaster. Responsibilities Provide specialist 1:1 support for a non-verbal pupil with ASD, including elements of personal care. Lead small group and individual learning sessions tailored to pupils needs. Work across Reception and KS1, delivering focused 1:1 support as well as group-based activities. Deliver creative, sensory-rich activities to engage and inspire learners. Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and collaborate effectively with the wider team. Requirements A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience within EYFS & KS1 settings. Experience supporting pupils in a primary school, ideally in a 1:1 capacity. A good understanding of the EYFS Framework and experience in maintaining learning records. A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
