Head of Asset Management – Valuation and Strategic Assets needed in Lambeth, £444.57 per day, PAYE - Reference: RQ1649722The Head of Strategic Assets is a key role within Valuations and Strategic assets team responsible for processes, policy and systems as well as leading on complex landlord and tenant contractual cases.You will ideally be able to demonstrate significant Landlord and Tenant and property contract expertise and must be a chartered survey and current MRICS.The purpose of the valuation and strategic assets department is to advise the Client specifically on opportunities to exploit the underlying value of property assets either through a third party letting, disposal or acquisition, leading to a direct capital, revenue, or social-value benefit.Accountable for the development and delivery of property and asset programmes of work, ensuring that the Client is making the best use of its asset base in the delivery of its outcomes, this role is to ensure the provision of high-quality advice to the Client, Cabinet Executive and Senior Management Team on matters pertaining to property and assets of the authority.As deputy to the AD VASA, the purpose is to lead and deliver a value adding, customer focused valuation and strategic asset’s function that collaborates with service colleagues and other professional functions to meet the needs of the authority and the changing service environment, delivering on corporate objectives and responsibilities while complying with statutory and policy requirements for the management of property.This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.If you are interested in the role please apply on our website with your CV, alternatively you can email your CV to katie@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number.Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
