A large, highly respected manufacturing organisation based near Dagenham is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Specialist to join their established team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a well–invested, safety–focused manufacturing environment where best practice and continuous improvement are genuinely encouraged. The successful candidate will bring strong hands–on Health & Safety experience from a manufacturing background and will be based within a commutable distance of Dagenham / Romford and the surrounding areas. The Role Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for supporting and driving Health & Safety standards across the manufacturing site, ensuring full compliance with current legislation and internal policies. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Health & Safety procedures Conducting risk assessments, audits, inspections and investigations Ensuring compliance with UK H&S legislation and manufacturing best practice Delivering toolbox talks and supporting safety training initiatives Advising managers and operational teams on Health & Safety matters Promoting a strong safety culture across the site About You Proven Health & Safety experience within a manufacturing environment Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) highly desirable Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels Proactive, detail–focused and committed to continuous improvement Able to commute easily to Dagenham / Romford What s on Offer The opportunity to join a well–established and highly respected manufacturer A stable, permanent role within a safety–led organisation Competitive salary and benefits package (dependent on experience) Supportive management and long–term career development If you re a Health & Safety Specialist with manufacturing experience looking to join a reputable organisation where your expertise will genuinely make an impact, we d love to hear from you.
