Post Title : Business Support Officer Team : Children & Young People Multi Agency Safeguarding and Support Hub Team Contract Type : Temporary Hours : 18.5 hours Salary : Grade 7 : Based : 3 Knowsley Place We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Business Support Officer within our Multi Agency Safeguarding and Support Hub team, this role provides administrative support to the front-line teams based in 3 Knowsley Place, Bury. This role is temporary to cover the Maternity Leave of the existing postholder. You will be working as part of a welcoming and supportive team providing Business Support to Social Workers, Health and Education professionals to ensure the safeguarding and best possible outcome for children and young people. The hours are 8 : 45 17 : 00 Monday and Tuesday and 8 : 45 -12 : 40 on Wednesday. Children's Services places the interests of children firmly at the centre of everything we do, working with families to offer quality advice, support and guidance. We are looking for an organised, self-motivated and professional individual who is able to provide a high level of administrative support. You will be working in a rewarding and fast paced environment, dealing with online and phone referrals into Children's Services, from the public and a wide range of professionals including the Police, Health and Education. You will enjoy working to tight deadlines and a high degree of accuracy is essential. Key Responsibilities You will have exceptional organisational skills in order to work under pressure to complete tasks to potentially conflicting deadlines, without direct line management, re-prioritising your own work as appropriate or allocating tasks to others. You will be capable of resolving problems, using your own initiative to provide practical solutions. You will be experienced in using computer packages and be confident in quickly being able to use bespoke software used within different services. Excellent communications skills will be required, together with high levels of customer service skills to deliver polite, courteous and efficient service to colleagues, partners and service users.
