Location: Gloucestershire – On-site across multiple school locations

Salary: £35,000 + benefits

Our client, a leading multi-academy trust in Gloucestershire, is seeking an IT Technician to join their collaborative and forward-thinking technology team. This role offers the opportunity to provide hands-on support across several schools within the trust, ensuring reliable, effective technology that enables high-quality teaching and learning.

What you’ll do

Deliver day-to-day technical support to staff and students, resolving hardware, software, and network issues

Assist in the upkeep and improvement of IT systems across multiple school sites

Support the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft 365, learning platforms, and classroom technologies

Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licences, and support requests

Work closely with school staff and trust IT colleagues to ensure smooth operations and an excellent service

You’ll collaborate with teachers, administrators, and trust leaders to enhance IT reliability and efficiency across a range of educational settings.

What we’re looking for

Experience in an IT support or technician role (education sector experience desirable)

Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, networking fundamentals, and PC hardware

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, with a focus on customer service

Ability to manage multiple priorities across sites in a structured, organised way

A proactive, collaborative approach and enthusiasm for improving user experience
